Estimator – Remedial Works Freyssinet New Zealand is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Auckland-based Remedial team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value remedial and strengthening projects that protect and extend the life of critical infrastructure across New Zealand. If you enjoy technical problem-solving, shaping winning tenders, and contributing at the front end of specialist construction projects, this role will give you real variety and impact. The Role As part of the NZ Remedial team, you will take ownership of estimating and tendering activities from early opportunity assessment through to submission. You’ll work closely with technical and delivery teams to develop smart, competitive solutions for a wide range of remedial works. This position is Auckland-based and costed to overhead, with occasional short trips nationwide to review and assess project opportunities. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for remedial construction projects Develop methodologies, construction programs, and pricing strategies Coordinate and write high‑quality tender and bid submissions Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing Provide technical and commercial input during pre‑contract planning Support the team in identifying and converting new opportunities Projects You’ll Work On Concrete repairs and structural strengthening Seismic strengthening works Bridges, wharves, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings About You You are commercially minded, detail-driven, and comfortable working on technically complex projects.
