Our client, a well‑established, family‑owned engineering company, is seeking a highly organised and experienced Storeperson/Forklift Operator to join their team in rural Kaiapoi. The business has been highly successful and now needs an organised person to help bring structure and tidiness to their rapidly growing parts store. Key Responsibilities Managing day‑to‑day processing of incoming and outgoing goods by hand and using a 2‑tonne gas forklift Picking and packing parts for orders Processing both internal and external orders Assisting the engineering team in packing machinery for shipment Maintaining stock levels and performing inventory control Ensuring the work environment is well‑organised and tidy What You’ll Need Recent experience in a similar storeperson or warehouse role Good physical fitness – this is an active role with plenty of movement Forklift operation skills Basic computer skills A strong commitment to organisation—Everything in its place, and a place for everything Why Kaiapoi?
