Job Description
Overview Permanent, Full Time. Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines. Help shape the future of early psychosis care for young people in our community. Environment: team, multicultural setting, agile work style. Responsibilities Work within a multidisciplinary team to support young people and their whānau on their recovery journey through meaningful engagement, evidence‑based assessments and interventions, and a strong strengths‑based approach aligned with the Early Intervention model. Lead the development and facilitation of group‑based interventions, while collaborating with NGO partners to enhance opportunities and outcomes for young people. Provide clinical leadership, champion the early intervention model, role‑model best practice, and support new staff to build confidence and capability. Contribute to ongoing service development and lift practice standards. Qualifications Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand. Current Annual Practicing Certificate. Minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience in Mental Health. Experience working with young people and/or early intervention mental health services (preferred). Excellent communication, engagement, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Full, clean and current driver’s licence. Benefits Free parking onsite.
