Quality Manager

Higgins Bay of Plenty has secured a new long term Integrated Delivery Contract with NZTA for the region, and is looking for an experienced Quality professional to join the team. Based across our Tauranga and Rotorua branches, with time split between the two, you will take ownership of quality systems, assurance processes, and site compliance across maintenance and renewals works. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure work is planned, delivered and closed out to contract, specification and client requirements. This is a hands on role with a strong site presence. You will be relied on as the go to person for quality, providing practical guidance and maintaining clear, well run quality processes across the contract. Key responsibilities Own and maintain the Quality Management System across the contract Lead quality planning, audits, inspections and assurance activities on site Manage quality incidents, investigations, corrective actions and close out Ensure Procore work packs, ITPs and QA records are complete and accurate Support delivery teams with quality requirements, planning and reporting Work closely with the client and internal teams to meet assurance expectations What You’ll Bring to the Role A tertiary qualification in quality, engineering or a related discipline Proven experience in a quality role within civil construction or roading Solid knowledge of NZTA / Waka Kotahi standards and specifications Strong working knowledge of Procore and quality documentation systems Confidence conducting audits, site inspections and quality reviews Clear communicator who builds trust, supports teams and follows through What’s on offer Competitive salary package, with relocation support available KiwiSaver employer contribution matched up to 4% In-house technical training and leadership development programmes Career opportunities across Higgins and Fletcher Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
