Job Overview Mercy Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Community Palliative Care (CPC) team based in Ponsonby, Auckland. The role focuses on providing holistic, compassionate care for patients with life-limiting illnesses and supporting their whānau (families). Key Responsibilities Clinical Care: Provide nursing assessments, symptom management, and care planning in a community setting. Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers (GP nurses, district nurses, etc.). Support: Offer education to other health professionals and participate in an after‑hours/on‑call roster. Support: Fully funded professional supervision and individual training plans. Perks: Free on‑site parking, work tablet/mobile phone, and a work vehicle (allocated for work and personal use within Auckland). Requirements Current NZ Annual Practising Certificate. At least 2 years of nursing experience (palliative, community, or oncology experience preferred). A compassionate and culturally responsive approach. A full NZ Driver's Licence.
