Overview Locations may include Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre. Permanent, full-time role (Monday – Sunday). Responsibilities Lead critical hospital-wide operations and patient flow. Drive performance across IOC, Orderlies, Bureau and essential services. Represent the district at regional forums, managing patient flow. Play a key leadership role in real-time operational decision-making. Facilitate and lead initiatives that may be required at a district level. About the Role The Operations Manager – Hospital Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day operations of the hospital. You will lead core operational functions, including the IOC, Orderly services, Bureau, and hospital equipment pool, while supporting incident management and service coordination across the district. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in maintaining patient flow, coordinating resources, and supporting safe, high-quality service delivery. You will provide visible leadership across the organisation, working closely with clinical and operational teams to ensure services are responsive, efficient, and aligned to organisational priorities.
