Job Description

Reporting to the Foodstuffs Team Leader, the Foodstuffs Shopper Development Manager – National will accelerate growth in this strategic retailer, grow customer engagement and collaboration, and build our brand penetration across the Awareness, Consideration, Purchase and Loyalty framework. The role is responsible for developing and executing an omnichannel category strategy, coordinating category solutions and range reviews, translating analytics into customer planning, and ensuring clear communication and alignment of strategies across the broader team. Travel required: up to 10% of time. On‑site location: Auckland, North Island, New Zealand. Main Responsibilities Development and execution of category strategy Lead Environmental Scans – mining Category Insights across a wide array of data sources Champion online and offline consumer and shopper knowledge to develop Category Stories Work closely with Foodstuffs as a Category Consultant Cross‑functional engagement with Digital Hub, Insights, Retail Marketing and Consumer Marketing teams Identify knowledge gaps and highlight them to the broader Commercial team Translate analytics into relevant customer planning Perform all other duties as directed by the Company What we are looking for Collaborator by nature, believing that bringing together the best people drives culture and business. Preferred Requirements Experience working in consumer product goods.
