Waipawa School is a Year 1–8 school in the heart of Central Hawke's Bay. We are a well‑resourced school with a supportive team, great kids, and a culture built around our values of kotahitanga, aroha, ako, hiwa, hākinakina, and pārekareka. The successful applicant will join us in Term 4, 2026. During this term, they will work collaboratively alongside another teacher in a two‑classroom learning space located in our school hall while our class refurbishment project is underway. From the beginning of 2027, the position becomes a single‑cell classroom in our Year 0–2 area. This role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team, can build positive relationships with young learners and whānau, and is excited by the opportunity to help shape a positive learning environment during a period of growth and change.
