Parcel Sorter

Position Overview Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end‑to‑end transport services and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers across New Zealand. We are looking for a full‑time Parcel Sorter to join our Parcels division. Hours of Work Monday – Friday, 11.00am – 7.30pm Responsibilities Assist with the safe handling of freight to achieve target delivery goals and provide an on‑time, damage‑free service. Load and unload all freight safely and securely. Scan freight efficiently and ensure documentation is complete. Operate all equipment in a safe and proficient manner. Label action bays, restack damaged freight and protect leaking products. Maintain good working relationships and communicate effectively within a team environment. Qualifications Prior work experience in the freight industry. Strong focus on health and safety. Physically fit and able to perform duties that require lifting and handling freight. Experience with heavy forklift use (preferred). F endorsed licence (preferred). Understanding of dangerous goods laws (preferred).
