About the Role As a House Officer you will provide essential medical care across a variety of specialties under the guidance of senior clinicians. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to patient care in a teaching hospital setting, and have the chance to enhance your clinical skills in a supportive environment. About the Team/Service Whakatane Hospital is a newly built facility with comprehensive medical services, including orthopaedic, surgical, obstetric/gynaecology, paediatric, psychiatry, and emergency departments. The facility has 117 beds and includes an Acute Care Unit. About You Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent). Strong clinical skills with the ability to work effectively in a team. Commitment to compassionate patient care and awareness of Māori health issues and equity. Adaptable and able to work in a fast‑paced, diverse environment.
