About the Role A fantastic opportunity to join the Oral Health Therapist team in Thames Permanent. This is a full‑time position requiring 80 hours per fortnight. The role involves working on a mobile dental unit in Thames, Coromandel and surrounding areas, managing comprehensive oral health services and helping eliminate health inequalities. Key Responsibilities Conduct oral health assessments and develop individualised care plans Provide preventive and therapeutic dental treatments Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to promote holistic patient care Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Qualifications & Requirements Registered Dental Therapist / Oral Health Therapist with current practising certificate with the Dental Council of New Zealand Up‑to‑date clinical skills Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi Flexible, organised, self‑motivated and able to work effectively with whānau to improve oral health A team player who partners with dental assistants and values support, friendship and development Appreciation for shared values and culture that contribute to the success of the oral team Diversity and Inclusion We welcome applications from our diverse Māori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
