About the Service Our department has 4 Elekta linear accelerators, a Siemens 64‑slice CT scanner and Morgagni treatment planning system. The department provides a gynaecological and prostate HDR brachytherapy service and uses Mosaiq as its patient management system. We deliver a full spectrum of advanced techniques including VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, DIBH, and comprehensive IGRT modalities. Staff are encouraged to participate in a wide range of innovative projects and service development initiatives. About You We welcome applications from Radiation Therapists with ideally 3+ years of clinical experience, particularly those with skills across both pre‑treatment and treatment workflows. Committed to delivering compassionate, patient‑focused care Flexible, proactive, and a strong team player Keen to contribute to service development and innovation Knowledge of te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth Demonstrates technical skills in radiation treatment planning and delivery, brachytherapy, and radiation oncology patient management systems Eligible for registration as a Radiation Therapist by the Medical Radiation Technologists Board of New Zealand If you don't meet every one of the listed requirements, we still encourage you to apply – we're always interested in hearing from motivated Radiation Therapists who are eager to learn and grow.
