Project Manager - Civil Construction Christchurch Full-Time Permanent The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well‑established civil construction business specialising in concrete works. This role is responsible for managing projects across the full lifecycle, from pre‑construction planning through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and meets quality expectations. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from planning through to handover Lead and coordinate site teams, including Site Managers and Foremen Oversee subcontractors and maintain productive working relationships Monitor project budgets, programmes, and resourcing Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting Identify risks and implement effective solutions About You Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction project management Strong experience in concrete and/or vertical construction Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Strong financial and commercial understanding Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels Well‑organised with strong attention to detail It would be advantageous if you also have: A relevant qualification or trade background Knowledge of NZ construction regulations and consent processes What’s On Offer Opportunity to work on a range of civil and concrete construction projects Supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing career development opportunities Competitive remuneration reflecting skills and experience Apply To be considered for this opportunity you must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
