Job Title and Location Permanent, Full-time | Ponsonby location (hybrid working available) Travel to Australia may be required at certain stages of the project lifecycle As our ICT Business Analyst, you'll bridge the gap between business and technology by identifying improvement opportunities, analysing business processes, and delivering practical solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Management: Gather, analyse and document business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear user stories and practical solutions aligned with business objectives. Process Analysis & Improvement: Review and redesign business processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance user experience and support future‑state operations. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across the business and technology teams to facilitate workshops, build strong relationships and ensure successful project outcomes. Solution Support & Delivery: Support solution design, testing and implementation by providing business context, validating outcomes and ensuring solutions meet business requirements. Governance, Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain high-quality documentation, ensure adherence to business analysis standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools and ways of working. Qualifications We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in technology projects, process documentation and user stories. Self‑managing and outcome‑focused, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Essential 3+ years' experience in business/operations analysis within technology initiatives, with strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes. Proven ability to produce requirements, process documentation and user stories using BA tools, supported by strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively under pressure, manage priorities, and operate in a self‑directed, outcome‑focused manner. Desirable Experience in the Australian or New Zealand education sector, including exposure to process blueprints and process re‑engineering. Experience supporting change initiatives and an understanding of financial processes.
