Case Western Reserve University Instructor Department of Biochemistry Case Western Reserve University, Department of Biochemistry is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a permanent, 12‑month faculty position at the rank of Instructor. This is a non‑tenure‑track position whose duties will focus on teaching, advising, and supporting the education mission of the Department. Responsibilities and Duties Advise undergraduate students in course selection for their programs of study, research opportunities, and career planning. Work closely with faculty colleagues to provide teaching support, including student assessment. Maintain office hours for advising and aiding students. Teach and manage laboratory courses for undergraduate and master’s students as well as summer research programs. Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or a related field. Previous experience in teaching is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be eligible to work in the United States.
