I am seeking a detail‑oriented Contract Accountant to provide short‑term support during a busy period, focusing on annual audit preparation and financial statement review. About the Role This is a hands‑on contract position supporting the finance team during a key reporting and audit phase. You will work closely with the outgoing incumbent during a brief handover period before they commence unexpected annual leave. Key Responsibilities Support the annual audit process Review and validate annual financial statements Populate and format financial statements into formal documentation Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations Review and verify bank transfers and transactions Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all financial records About You Previous experience in a similar accounting or audit role Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy Comfortable working independently in a short‑term, fast‑paced assignment Effective communicator, able to engage during a quick handover period CA qualification is not required, but practical experience is essential Cultural Fit As a faith‑based organisation, my client places importance on values alignment.
