Excavator Operator

We’re on the hunt for skilled Machine Operators (primarily Loader and Excavator operators ) to join our client on a major local infrastructure project kicking off in the Porirua region. This is your opportunity to be part of a large-scale civil construction project , contributing to essential infrastructure that will benefit the local community for years to come. You’ll be working alongside experienced crews on a busy site, involved in a range of civil works including earthworks, site prep, drainage, and material movement. What’s on offer: Immediate start available Full-time work, Monday to Friday Usual hours 7:00am – 5:00pm (may vary depending on project needs) Ongoing work on a significant local project Supportive team environment with experienced operators and supervisors Be part of something you can be proud of What you’ll be doing: Operating loaders and excavators across a variety of civil tasks Bulk earthworks, trenching, backfilling, and site levelling Loading trucks and managing materials safely and efficiently Working around services and following site plans and instructions Assisting ground crew when required and contributing to overall site productivity Maintaining high standards of health & safety on a live construction site What we’re looking for: Proven experience operating loaders and/or excavators in a civil environment Current WTR endorsements (essential) Strong understanding of civil construction processes Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions Reliable, hardworking with a great attitude toward safety Bonus points if you have: Class 2 or Class 4 licence If you’re ready to jump straight into work and be part of a project that makes a real impact, we want to hear from you.
