Regional Branch & Events Manager Department: Branch and Events (Registered Master Builders) Employment Type: Full Time Location: New Plymouth Description Humankind are partnering with Registered Master Builders to recruit a Regional Branch & Events Manager for the Central North Island region. This is a broad, people-focused role that combines event delivery, stakeholder management, and regional ownership. Supporting a well-established, purpose-led organisation, this role sits at the heart of member engagement across the region - bringing people together through events and ensuring a high standard of delivery across multiple branches. The Opportunity This is a highly autonomous role with responsibility for delivering a wide range of events and supporting the overall performance of the Central North Island region. You will manage a mix of nationally driven programmes (including House of the Year and Apprentice of the Year), regional conferences, and local networking and member events. Alongside this, you’ll work closely with branch presidents, executive committees, and members to strengthen engagement and ensure the branch operates effectively. With the support of a national framework and a regional admin resource, you’ll take ownership of planning, delivery, and relationship management across your region. Key Responsibilities Deliver a calendar of local, regional, and national events to a consistently high standard Manage relationships with branch presidents, executive committees, and members across the region Coordinate and run flagship programmes including House of the Year and Apprentice of the Year Support member engagement, branch communications, and day-to-day regional activity Plan and execute events end-to-end, including logistics, budgets, and coordination Work within national event frameworks while tailoring delivery to your region Ensure the effective operation of the region alongside a part-time admin support Key Requirements Proven experience delivering events end-to-end Strong organisational and project management capability Experience working with multiple stakeholders, ideally in a regional or membership-based environment Confidence managing competing priorities and working autonomously Ability to balance relationship-building with delivery and execution Additional Skills and Traits Strong communication skills and the ability to work across a wide range of stakeholders A proactive, solutions-focused mindset What You Need to Know Location is flexible across the Central North Island (Palmerston North, Whanganui, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki and Gisborne) for the right candidate Regular travel across the region is required Some evening and occasional weekend work will be necessary due to events You’ll be supported by a regional admin resource and a national team What's on Offer Competitive salary package Company vehicle + fuel card Southern Cross health insurance A varied and autonomous role combining events, relationships, and regional ownership The opportunity to be part of a recognised national brand with strong industry ties A supportive, purpose-led organisation focused on making a real impact across New Zealand Apply Now If you enjoy delivering events, building relationships, and working with a high level of autonomy, this is a great opportunity to step into a regionally focused role with real ownership.
