TeWhiwhingamahi | The opportunity This summer, we’re looking for a Retail Business Intern to join our Innovation and Growth team in Auckland. This is a broad, hands‑on role where you’ll get exposure to how Contact grows its retail business, develops new products, builds partnerships, and makes customer‑focused commercial decisions across electricity, broadband, mobile and gas. You’ll work on a mix of strategic projects and day‑to‑day initiatives, helping the team explore growth opportunities, understand customer needs, and support the development of new products and propositions. No two days will look the same, and you’ll have the chance to learn from people across Product, Growth, Marketing, Commercial, Partnerships, Technology and Insights. You will be involved in: Supporting growth strategy and product innovation work across retail product categories. Helping with customer segmentation, research, analysis and insight gathering. Contributing to projects linked to energy plans, broadband, mobile, gas and demand‑shifting propositions. Supporting partnership, commercial, marketing automation and retail transformation initiatives. Ko wai koe | About you We are seeking applications from students studying Business, Commerce, Marketing, Product, Finance, Consumer Behaviour, Psychology, Law or another relevant discipline. You might be someone who enjoys solving problems, understanding customers, working with different people, and exploring how businesses grow. We can equip you with the skills needed to excel in this internship and beyond.
