About the Role Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with recent acute or community care experience, ideally with adults and children, who thrives on flexibility and enjoys the challenges of providing specialised care in patients with bladder and bowel needs in the community. The role is based at Tauranga Hospital and requires availability to work between 7:30am and 4:00pm, Monday to Sunday. Responsibilities Provide specialised care to clients with bladder and bowel needs within the community. Work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team. Adapt care plans to meet the individual needs of adults and children. Maintain accurate patient records and comply with health system standards. About the Team / Service / Location Our team of six operates as a district regional service within the broader District Nursing framework, covering Tauranga and Whakatāne areas. It includes a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Clinical Speciality Nurses, Registered Nurses and a Health Care Assistant. About You To thrive in this position we seek dedicated individuals with a professional demeanour, displaying flexibility and an appreciation for diversity. What you will bring Registered Nurse with a current NZNC Annual Practicing Certificate. Preferable two years or more experience as a Registered Nurse in a community care setting working with adults and children. Previous Emergency or Acute Care experience (preferred). Full Clean NZ Driver's Licence. Demonstrated holistic approach to patient and family/whānau care. Desire to contribute to a supportive team environment.
