Elementary School Teacher's Aide

Job Overview The part‑time Teacher’s Aide assists teachers in a K‑5 elementary campus. Position provides for various duties, so flexibility and willingness to assist where needed is essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist teachers with grading and other duties as requested Monitor recess and lunch time Work with individual students or small groups as requested Communicate with teachers about student performance Demonstrate high level of confidentiality Willing to be CPR certified as well as learn basic first aid skills Ability to train as backup for front office to include learning medical protocols Ability to take initiative to complete tasks Through effective communication, build healthy, effective relationships with students and co‑workers Works cooperatively with other Teacher’s Aides Other duties as assigned Commits and fully supports the missional and organizational standards including our Core Values, Mission Statement and Doctrinal Statement, and Statement of Faith and Christian Beliefs Additional Qualifications, Skills and Responsibilities Evidence of spiritual maturity and strong grasp of Christian education; ability to demonstrate true biblical integration through the subject area Through effective communication, build healthy, effective relationships with students and families to support and enforce the biblical, whole‑child educational experience Work well with other teachers, support staff and administrators Maintains a safe and orderly classroom to promote an inviting place for students to learn and to inhibit relational aggression EEO Statement Colorado Springs Christian Schools shall comply with applicable laws and regulations prohibiting discrimination of any individual who is otherwise qualified. #J-18808-Ljbffr
