Join a high-performing intelligence team Lead intelligence that shapes aviation safety and security outcomes Permanent position based in Wellington About The Role As a Senior Analyst, Regulatory Intelligence and Insights, you’ll develop high-quality intelligence that informs regulatory decision-making and enhances aviation safety outcomes. You’ll play a key role in interpreting a complex operating environment, identifying and assessing risks, and delivering insights that support an intelligence-led regulatory approach. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of timely, accurate and influential intelligence products Interpret the operating environment to identify and quantify emerging risks and trends Shape and embed intelligence requirements across the organisation Build enduring relationships with stakeholders to plan and deliver intelligence collection Communicate insights and recommendations to operational teams and senior decision-makers Mentor analysts and contribute to building team capability The salary band for this role is $115,536 to $141,751. Starting salaries are based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities. What You’ll Bring You’re an experienced intelligence professional with a track record of delivering high-quality, impactful insights in complex environments. You combine critical thinking with intellectual curiosity, allowing you to quickly build trusted expertise and provide clear, evidence-based advice. Proven experience producing and presenting intelligence to senior decision-makers and frontline teams across strategic, operational and tactical levels Demonstrated influence and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility across organisations and agencies Knowledge of and experience in using modern intelligence and risk methodologies Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights Experience working in complex, ambiguous environments and delivering under pressure Familiarity with GIS, open-source intelligence, risk management, or aviation You’ll also be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
