Service Advisor

Role Overview Manawatu Toyota in Palmerston North requires an additional, positive‑people‑person to join our Service Team! In a nutshell your role involves working alongside our workshop to ensure all customer vehicles are serviced on time, keeping the flow of work going, understanding vehicle needs and talking with our customers about their vehicles. The main focus is being friendly, professional and ensuring each customer has an exceptional experience. Another key part of this role is being responsible for ensuring the invoicing of jobs is organised and accurate. At times, this can be a fast‑paced environment, so you’ll need to be able to work under pressure, multi‑task and have fortitude. Responsibilities Work alongside the workshop team to ensure all customer vehicles are serviced on time. Understand vehicle needs and communicate effectively with customers. Ensure invoicing of jobs is organised and accurate. Work under pressure, multi‑task and keep work flowing during busy periods. Qualifications & Skills Full‑time availability. Good sense of humour, clean full driver’s licence and ability to confidently drive both manual and automatic vehicles. Strong customer focus with genuine desire to provide exceptional service. Energy, motivation and solid work ethic. Ability to follow processes, strong written and numerical skills, computer proficiency and quick learning of new systems.
