Centre Manager - Ruakaka

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing people leadership with practical centre operations and who is committed to high quality early childhood education. About the role – Korero mo te turanga As centre manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day‑to‑day operations of the centre. You will ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for tamariki, while meeting all regulatory and organisational requirements. Providing strong, visible leadership to the centre team Overseeing centre administration, enrolments, and occupancy Managing staffing, rosters, performance, and professional development Ensuring compliance with current ECE regulations, ERO expectations, and Licensing Criteria Leading and supporting high‑quality teaching practice in line with Te Whariki Building positive relationships with whanau, staff, and the wider community Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and well‑presented learning environment This is a full‑time role, 40 hours per week, working on a roster between 7.00am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. The role is counted in ratio and includes allocated weekly non‑contact administration time. For this role you will need to be a certified ECE Teacher in New Zealand.
