Production Brewer - Brave Brewing Co.

Brave Brewing Co. is a much loved, independently owned craft brewery based in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay. We are looking for an experienced brewer to join our small, high-performing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with proven commercial brewing experience who enjoys being involved in all aspects of brewery operations. While brewing will be a key part of the position, we’re a small team, so the successful applicant will also spend time in the cellar, cleaning tanks, packaging beer, washing and filling kegs and supporting general brewery operations as required. Key Responsibilities: Wort production and brewhouse operation Tank cleaning and sanitation Fermentation and cellar management Dry hopping, fining and beer transfers Packaging operations including keg washing, kegging, bottling and quality checks Yeast management Quality control and record keeping Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace About You: You enjoy working as part of a small team, contribute positively to workplace culture and treat colleagues with respect Proven commercial brewing experience is essential Strong understanding of brewing science and cellar operations High attention to detail and commitment to quality Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks Practical, hands‑on attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Physically capable of handling the demands of brewery work What We Offer: The opportunity to play a key role in a respected and thriving craft brewery Diverse and varied work across all areas of production A supportive and collaborative team environment A competitive and negotiable salary, based on experience Relocation assistance for the right candidate #J-18808-Ljbffr
