About the role BTW is seeking an innovative and motivated Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Hamilton. You’ll work on projects ranging from new builds to upgrades of existing structures, across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Enjoy a mix of design, project management, site observations, and client interaction. You’ll collaborate with our in-house Civil and Geotechnical teams, gaining exposure to a wide range of engineering challenges and strong opportunities for professional growth. Key responsibilities Deliver structural engineering design and documentation from concept to construction Produce high-quality sketches and arrangements for our in-house draughtsperson Liaise with clients, architects, and internal teams Develop and improve design systems and processes Manage projects and conduct technical site observations About you Washington Accord degree equivalent in Civil Engineering 3+ years’ post-degree structural engineering experience (NZ experience preferred) Ideally working towards CPEng and a member of Engineering NZ Strong knowledge of structural engineering, including seismic assessment and design Motivated, professional, and responsive to team and client needsExperience in client management, project oversight, and technical site observation Why Join Us?
