About the Role Support the success of Maori students by coordinating recruitment, enrolment, placements and programme administration while building strong relationships with Maori education communities. You will be involved from initial enquiry to graduation, ensuring smooth delivery of programme administration and student support services. Key Responsibilities Coordinating recruitment, enrolment, cross‑crediting, mentoring, completion and graduation processes for Maori students. Building and maintaining relationships with Kohanga Reo, Kura Kaupapa Maori and Wharekura to support student pathways and programme growth. Supporting the coordination of professional experience placements in Maori‑medium educational settings. Managing programme administration, student records, documentation, databases and event coordination. Providing high‑quality administrative, advisory and pastoral support to students and academic staff. Qualifications You are a highly organised and relationship‑focused administrator who is passionate about supporting Maori educational success. Qualifications include: Proficiency in te reo Maori and excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Experience in administration, coordination or student support, with strong organisational and planning skills. Ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, Kohanga Reo, Kura Kaupapa Maori and Wharekura. Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an understanding of Maori and Pacific cultures. Working Hours and Salary Part‑time role: 18.75 hours per week (0.5FTE). Hours and days can be negotiated based on the Hillcrest Campus location. Annual salary pro rata: $73,235 to $87,024 (between $36,617 and $43,512 based on skills and experience).
