Responsibilities Operate large mining vehicles within the Open Pit operation. Perform pre‑start and shutdown checks on all equipment to ensure high safety standards. Load and transport rock to the processing plant. Work as a member of a crew, contributing to the team. Communicate with mine workers and contractors. Maintain housekeeping of vehicles and loading area. Qualifications Unrestricted New Zealand work rights; a valid work visa is required. A full, clean, current driver’s licence and confidence driving a manual vehicle. Ability to communicate well within a team environment. High interest in heavy machinery. Safety conscious with a commitment to maintaining an excellent safety record. Pass a pre‑employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol testing.
