Job Description

HR Systems Administrator– Success Factors The Ministry acts in the world to build a safer, more prosperous and more sustainable future for New Zealanders. The role is part of a dynamic cross‑functional team and provides advanced level support and system management of key HR systems. Duration & Location Fixed Term/Secondment: August2026– April2027. Wellington based. Responsibilities Plan, implement, test, roll‑out and support configuration changes for RCM, ONB, PMGM modules. Provide demonstrations to functional teams and monitor systems and integrations. Lead bug fixes, change deployment and refresh test environments to remain production‑like. Inform stakeholders appropriately about issues, new releases, or upgrades. Qualifications Experience as SAP Success Factors System Administrator or Systems Analyst. Strong HR technical systems support with business‑customer focus. Co‑ordination experience: configuring, testing, troubleshooting, & implementing system changes. Support delivery of HR‑led processes: recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle. Ability to work effectively during busy times and meet deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication. Knowledge of Treaty of Waitangi/TeReo Māori and Māori customs beneficial. Must be a NewZealand citizen or Permanent Resident. Must be able to obtain and maintain Confidential security clearance.
