About the Role We have a vacancy for an experienced Vet Nurse to join our busy companion animal hospital at the Levin clinic. We run a well‑equipped hospital offering a wide range of surgeries and advanced treatment options for our clients. The role is client‑centric, with a friendly team and competitive remuneration. Responsibilities include: Providing excellent standards of care for patients and clients Assisting with consultations General nursing and clinic administration tasks Utilising technology and equipment management Assisting with anaesthesia surgical procedures Monitoring care of patients and following up after surgery We are looking for a person who has the following qualities: A Veterinary Nurse Qualification with proven clinical skills An enthusiastic level of customer service Excellent written and oral communication skills The ability to show empathy and respond to customer and patient needs A passion for animal health and wellbeing Excellent team skills and the ability to relate well to both customers and colleagues Adaptability to a constantly changing environment while maintaining a friendly working atmosphere A proactive work ethic and initiative Benefits: CPD allowance and opportunities Staff discounts on products and services Partner offers with Toyota, BNZ and PBTech Sonder, our employee care platform This role is working 30 hours per week with participation in the Saturday roster.
