The Opportunity INTEC Energy Solutions is commencing construction on a landmark large‑scale solar farm project north of Auckland, and we are seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager to lead delivery on site. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving the successful execution of the project from mobilisation through to construction completion and commissioning. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of all on‑site construction activities across civil, mechanical, electrical, and HV/MV disciplines. You will lead subcontractors, coordinate multiple workstreams, drive a strong safety and quality culture, and ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, budget, and contractual requirements. What You’ll Do Lead the successful delivery of all site construction activities across civil, mechanical, electrical, and HV/MV scopes, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to project requirements. Take ownership of site mobilisation, construction planning, programme delivery, and coordination of subcontractors and project teams to achieve key milestones. Drive a strong HSEQ and quality culture on site, ensuring compliance with New Zealand standards, legislation, and INTEC project requirements. Manage interfaces between disciplines, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to maintain alignment across construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Monitor progress, cost, risk, and performance while providing effective leadership, reporting, and solutions to support successful project delivery. What You’ll Bring Proven experience leading large‑scale construction projects within renewable energy, infrastructure, civil, or related industries. Strong understanding of multidisciplinary construction delivery, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and HV/MV works. Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, site teams, programmes, budgets, and project outcomes in a complex construction environment. Strong knowledge of New Zealand construction standards, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations. A proactive and collaborative leadership style, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
