Job Description
Embroidery Machine Operator (Evening Shift) Arrow Uniforms is looking for an Evening Shift Operator for Embroidery Machine to join our team on a full‑time basis at our brand‑new, purpose‑built offices in Silverstream. In this role you will be responsible for operating a multi‑head embroidery machine, assisting with digital prints and badges, preparing garments before and after embroidery, and managing folding, packaging, and processing items while ensuring high‑quality workmanship and timely production as part of the wider Operations team. Responsibilities Operate industrial embroidery machinery to create unique embroidery designs on garments. Set up jobs: load designs, select and change threads, match colours to specification. Hoop and position garments accurately across a wide range of fabrics and items. Manage thread tension and machine settings to maintain quality across long runs. Troubleshoot machinery issues and thread‑breaks to optimise machine uptime. Complete orders in a timely and accurate manner to meet completion deadlines. Ensure client orders are ready, framed, and packaged before delivery dates. Manage inventory, maintain stocks of needles, threads, beads and other embroidery materials. Set up machine configuration and coloured threads in the required sequence. Tidy up loose stitching and trim interfacings before labeling and packaging goods for distribution. Sort, count, and bundle garments by job or order. Keep work areas clean and organised. Support other machine operators. Operate a heat‑press machine (training provided). Create and edit embroidery designs using embroidery software. About You Minimum 2 years of relevant industrial embroidery machine experience. Guarantee 30 hours per week, standard 42.5–45 hours. Willing to work the evening shift 2:00 pm‑10:00 pm (or similar). Team player who enjoys working with a friendly and supportive team.
