Catering Assistant - New Plymouth

We would love to hear from you! Cater Plus is the proud new catering service provider at Tegel New Plymouth and we are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team in this busy onsite café. In this position you will be actively involved in all aspects of the café including customer service, serving dinner and cabinet food, as well as supporting the established kitchen team with food preparation. Key Responsibilities You will provide excellent customer service, serve food to customers, and assist the kitchen team with food preparation. Requirements A friendly disposition and flexible attitude. Resilience and a comfort level with working in the unique environment of a chicken processing plant. A people‑oriented personality who enjoys working in hospitality and providing top‑notch service. Excellent multi‑tasking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Willingness to learn and be a part of a great team. Prior experience in a café environment and/or kitchen is preferred but not essential.
