STEAM Club After-School Assistant -- Safe, Hands-On Learning

Position Overview The STEAM aide assists STEAM teachers with elementary students. Position provides for various duties so flexibility and willingness to assist where needed is essential. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Qualifications and Skills Assist with the implementation of age‑appropriate activities Responsible for the safety and care of children in STEAM Monitor recess Work with individual students or small groups as requested Willing to be CPR certified and complete training in basic first aid skills. (After School aide) Ability to interact effectively and professionally with children, parents and co‑workers at all times. Through interactive play, engage children in activities and growth opportunities. Assist with field trips with students Must be minimum age of 16 years old Commits and fully supports the missional and organizational standards including our Core Values, Mission Statement and Doctrinal Statement, and Statement of Faith and Christian Beliefs Other duties as assigned *Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable or other background demonstrating application of the qualifications and skills.
