Depending on your experience you can join us as an Advisor (early/mid‑career) or step straight into the Senior Advisor role (experienced). You’ll be at the centre of our health, safety & wellbeing (HSW) programme, partnering with frontline teams, site managers and HSW Representatives to embed a strong safety culture. What you’ll do Serve as the primary business partner for frontline groups, championing safe work practices. Support and, where appropriate, lead projects that improve safety performance and critical‑risk management. Build relationships that promote a culture of safety, inclusion and employee engagement. Contribute ideas and expertise that shape how we work across the Agency. Advisor (entry to early career) We’re looking for a genuine interest in HSW and a desire to grow. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Curiosity, an innovative mindset and a proactive approach. Ability to thrive in a busy, teamwork focused environment. Appointment range $87,048–$92,851, dependent on experience. Senior Advisor (4+years’ experience) We’re looking for 4+years of HSW experience with deep knowledge of systems, risk management and reporting. Proven project‑management capability and a pragmatic problem‑solving style. Demonstrated coaching/mentoring ability and a passion for developing others. Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, adaptable to varied audiences. Self‑motivation, advanced time‑management and organisational competence. Eligibility To apply, you must meet the following eligibility criteria: Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years. OR Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years. Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance. Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries.
