Job Description

Overview The Sales & Marketing Administrator supports James Hardie’s customer retention strategy by coordinating and executing stakeholder‑specific programs. This part‑time onsite role works 20–25 hours per week and administers a range of activities for the Sales and Marketing teams across New Zealand. Responsibilities Manage vendor setup and maintenance, including purchasing processes (requisitions, purchase orders, invoice receipting). Coordinate events with industry suppliers and Sales and maintain the internal event calendar. Manage promotional goods, gifts, and apparel, including distribution to the Sales team for events. Administer customer and product data, including SKU setup, price file updates and associated customer collateral. Oversee GS1 management to ensure product data accuracy and compliance. Manage program and fund administration, including co‑op funds and end‑user agreement programmes. Support marketing and channel activities by maintaining channel websites and managing the show home register. Provide general administrative support to Sales and Marketing teams as required. Qualifications At least 5 years’ experience in a Finance, Sales Support, or similar administrative role. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, or Management is preferred. Organised with the ability to prioritise time effectively and maintain high attention to detail. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across cross‑functional teams and build stakeholder relationships. Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial controls and processes. Experience with SAP and Salesforce is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
