Mō te tūnga | About the role Responsible for the administration needs of Social Work kaimahi, including financial plans, data collection, and scheduling. Provide assistance with financial plans, data collection and scheduling. Liaise with vendors, casual staff, and other stakeholders. Work with various cultural groups and people from different backgrounds. Book rooms, answer phones, and assist at the reception desk. Organise welcomes/whakatau for newcomers and whānau as required. Deal with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner. Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring Full clean New Zealand driver’s licence (historic convictions may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis). Support the team with all aspects of Health and Safety. Strong computer and IT knowledge. Admin skills such as typing, reporting, and responding to site needs. Cultural awareness and an understanding of Tikanga Māori principles. Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Strong time‑management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience. Understanding and appreciation of cross‑cultural practices, particularly knowledge of Tikanga Māori and Pacific peoples’ culture. Annual remuneration for this position starts between $57,096 and $62,773, depending on experience.
