This is more than a training role. Working closely with supervisors, leadership teams and site management, you will ensure employees are trained, assessed and supported to perform their roles safely, effectively and consistently. This role plays a key part in building a capable and confident workforce as the operation transitions into production. Key Responsibilities Deliver underground operational training and competency assessments Support onboarding and development of new employees Conduct workplace coaching, mentoring and observations Maintain accurate training and competency records Assist in developing training materials and procedures Monitor compliance with training and competency requirements Work with supervisors and leadership to identify skill gaps and development needs Promote safe work practices and operational excellence Support continuous improvement across training and operations Contribute to building a strong learning and safety culture About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Significant underground mining experience Previous experience in training, mentoring, coaching or leadership roles Strong understanding of underground mining operations and safety systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and influence people at all levels Commitment to health, safety and operational excellence Current Driver Licence Desirable Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) Adult education, training or assessor qualifications First Aid Certificate Experience managing competency frameworks Underground gold or metalliferous mining experience Build Your Future Here Opportunities to help build the workforce, standards and culture of a new mining operation are rare.
