Junior Project Manager

Start Date: 1 July Duration: Daily rate contract through to mid-December (with potential extension) Location: Wellington (4 Days per week onsite) Our client is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join their delivery team, managing a portfolio of smaller projects across a number of key accounts. This is a hands‑on role within an Agile delivery environment, where project priorities and backlogs are driven by client needs. You will be working across a diverse range of workstreams, including Firewall & Security, Digital Workspace, and Property initiatives, providing an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience across both technical and business‑focused projects. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple smaller projects Coordinate project activities, timelines, and resources Track progress against milestones and ensure on-time delivery Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and client stakeholders Support Agile delivery practices, adapting to changing priorities About You Experience in a Junior Project Manager or Senior Project Coordinator role Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Experience working in Agile or customer‑driven delivery environments (preferred) Confidence working with both technical teams and business stakeholders Nice to Have Exposure to infrastructure, security, or digital workspace projects Previous experience across multiple accounts or clients Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) Additional Information Candidates must be eligible to obtain Ministry of Justice (MOJ) clearance A highly capable Senior Project Coordinator may also be considered for this role Opportunity to gain exposure across varied and impactful projects Kia ora, Comspek and our clients fully support and encourage diverse hiring and inclusive recruitment processes.
