Kerb Machine Operator

The individual appointed to the Kerb Machine Operator – Supervisor role will be a hands-on leader with strong planning and logistic management abilities. Duties To efficiently and diligently Site Supervise, whilst physically working within the specialist Kerbing crew. Ensuring assigned projects are completed safely. Prioritising safety and the wellbeing of your team. Nurturing a culture of ‘zero harm’ by leading by example and providing coaching and mentoring to all members of your team. Fulfil a generalist Concrete Site Supervisor role if a lack of Kerb Continuity dictates Participate in Tender Handover Meetings and understand fully the parameters of the project scope and the clients required outputs before commencing a project. Liaising with and maintaining positive relationships with all suppliers, customers, stakeholders and RGC personnel. Meeting Key Performance Objectives of the projects pertaining to safety, quality, environmental and profitability Build sustainable, win-win relationships with all those people you interact with as an agent of RGC Flexibility to deliver short duration works outside of the Auckland region as required Skills and Experience necessary Must have a minimum of 2 years leading an extruded kerb crew Preferably 8+ years in the construction industry Ability to work with fair degree of autonomy and able to recognise when it is appropriate to ask for wider RGC support and assistance for the betterment of the project outcomes for the client, ourselves and the kerbing team General concrete and masonry experience in addition to Kerbing specialty Be comfortable with working in a fastmoving work environment.
