In line with this, we are currently seeking a sales support professional to join our Trade Support team based in our Taupo Branch. Role We are currently recruiting a Trade Support Team Member to join the team as a permanent full‑time employee (40 hours per week across Monday to Friday and rostered Saturdays). This will be a busy yet varied role where you will be responsible but not limited to the following: Receive incoming calls from trade customers Give advice on PlaceMakers products and services Follow up customer inquiries and orders with the dispatch area Source and order special goods Handle general price enquiries Provide backup service for Account Managers Qualifications & Experience The time‑sensitive nature of our customers’ needs requires you to work at pace and input data accurately and within specified timeframes. Your resilience and ability to be solution‑oriented even when under pressure will be essential in this ever‑changing environment. We ideally look for someone with an understanding of and experience in the building/trade sector, but we place the most emphasis on strong sales and customer‑service skills. The role also involves liaising with other areas of the branch, so the ability to build rapport, enjoy a team‑focused culture, communicate product and delivery information effectively, and maintain a strong customer‑service focus is required. Tech‑savvy skills, energy, and drive are also important for this role.
