Partly has offices in London (UK), Christchurch (NZ), and Austin (Texas). Wherever you're based, we will connect you with your nearest office for onboarding and fly you to join the full team for our quarterly "Season Openers" (we cover travel and accommodation). This role In the Solutions Engineer role, you will cultivate robust connections between our team and clients, aligning industry demands with customer expectations and technical capabilities. Your knowledge of large data sets, ability to learn technical concepts quickly, and passion for the automotive industry will be crucial in driving momentum. Reporting to the Dismantler Commerce team, your project scope will be wide and varied, providing hands‑on experience and leading research into the optimal experience for key customer segments. Become a super‑user of Partly’s inventory management system – The Partly PIM – and other apps in the Partly ecosystem; understand exactly how buyers rely on us to find the parts that fit their vehicle. Scope, develop, and implement user‑centric solutions that harness the power of the Partly Platform, delivering outstanding results that maximise customer success throughout a smooth onboarding journey. Build integrations. Work closely with the Engineering team, providing well‑defined requirements and guidelines to develop industry‑leading products. Engage the customer in rigorous testing phases to iterate; ensure solutions align with established criteria and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Your skills A STEM degree. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to convey ideas clearly and persuasively to customers and colleagues. Proficiency in analysing data with Python, Pandas, and SQL. A logical and structured approach to problem solving; spend time outside of university thinking about complex problems and opportunities for innovation. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment, staying up‑to‑date with industry trends and best practices.
