Additional $2.50 per hour for all weekend hours worked Fun, friendly and supportive team environment Build meaningful connections every day About The Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village in Inverargill as a Barista. This is a full‑time role working Sunday to Thursday 08:30–16:30. In this role you will: Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for residents, relatives and visitors – experience making coffee essential Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere within the village Be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café Work closely with, and support your colleagues About You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have: Previous experience as a Barista in a busy cafe environment Outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food service Strong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanour A reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Please note that, although we often welcome applications from overseas candidates, due to immigration requirements, we require applicants to have New Zealand work rights for this position.
