Advisory Manager – Technology, Strategy & Transformation Full-time Compensation: NZD 120,000 - NZD 150,000 yearly We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and talented Manager to join our Technology Strategy & Transformation team, working in a client‑facing advisory capacity across a wide range of organisations and industries. The TS&T team at Deloitte works closely with business executives and digital/IT leaders to provide trusted technology and transformation advice, helping them optimise their business technology landscape, set their technology strategy, and prepare their organisations for business transformation. Responsibilities Advising executive and senior leaders to design technology strategies aligned to business outcomes for organisations. Designing and implementing operating models for technology, transformation, and digital functions. Completing requirements gathering and options analysis activities for new business applications and/or capabilities. Technology procurement and commercial management for new or existing business applications and platforms, including market assessments and vendor evaluations. Enterprise architecture advisory including system rationalisation and scaling for future growth. Designing and achieving agreement on transformation programmes including business case development, delivery methodologies and strategies, and approaches to value realisation, often supporting governance and decision‑making forums. Managing advisory engagements for clients, including resources (internal and client resources), budgets, scope and deliverables. Providing people leadership and coaching. Qualifications 6+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, or professional services, or relevant industry experience delivering structured recommendations. A demonstrated history of working with senior stakeholders to influence, advise, and gain alignment on technology priorities. Strong understanding of core technology and enterprise architecture concepts through practical experience and knowledge of technology trends. Solid grasp of how technology functions are structured and the services they provide. Experience with a range of enterprise technology systems and solutions and ability to assess suitability and trade‑offs. Ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems with logical flow and strong presentation and storytelling skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, translating technical concepts into clear, business‑relevant advice while building long‑lasting trusted relationships. Experience designing, facilitating, and translating outputs of workshops with broad stakeholder groups to drive alignment, decision‑making and investment outcomes. Business development and sales experience with proven results. Leadership skills and experience to drive quality outcomes. Strategic thinking and problem‑solving ability.
