Overview Tax Pooling Solutions (TPS) is a specialist business within PwC New Zealand, helping businesses manage their tax obligations with greater flexibility and confidence. Our collaborative team combines technical expertise with exceptional client service to deliver practical solutions that make a real impact. As an Associate, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations of our market‑leading business, working across a variety of operational, financial, and client‑focused activities. Responsibilities Preparing tailored tax pooling quotes and supporting clients with managing their cash flow and reducing their exposure to penalties and interest. Building strong relationships with tax agents, finance professionals, and business owners by delivering exceptional services primarily via phone and email. Supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the business, including funding requests, reconciliations, reporting, and administrative processes. Working collaboratively across the team to improve systems, streamline processes, and support business development initiatives. Helping ensure our operations meet PwC's quality, compliance, and risk management standards. Qualifications At least 2 years’ experience in an office‑based, client‑service, operations, or administrative role. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with financial information and reconciliations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and develop lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. Confidence working with numbers, including a solid understanding of interest calculations and reconciliations. Interest in developing your financial modelling skills is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and consistently deliver high‑quality work. A degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline is advantageous, but not essential.
