Job Description As a Caregiver at our St Johns village, you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. This role is varied and centers around providing personal care and assistance in our residents’ daily lives. Typical Duties Delivering meals and helping with mealtimes Aiding with hygiene such as showering Assisting with individual care plan requirements, such as walks and exercises Helping with activities such as puzzles, table tennis, and others Qualifications Experience in aged care or a similar role (and willingness to complete dementia care qualifications) Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships Commitment to a rotational roster Additional Information Weekend additional hourly rates apply Opportunities to progress your caregiver career and gain further qualifications Southern Cross Health Essentials Insurance Applications for this role will close on Friday 23rd July .
