Our Asphalt Paving Supervisor will be a key member of our Southern Surfacing team based in Christchurch, leading a competent and capable delivery team and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to client satisfaction. The role The primary purpose of this position is to supervise and deliver asphalt paving projects as part of a wider surfacing delivery team. Responsibilities include managing staff onsite, supervising and coordinating asphalt paving resources, and working with suppliers and subcontractors. About you We are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to contribute and refine their skills within a supportive team. Flexibility to work night shifts, travel, and a sense of humor are essential. Key Requirements Minimum 10 years of surfacing experience Knowledge of asphalt paving plant Excellent staff leadership skills Excellent communication skills with clients on the job Competence in coordinating and planning Previous frontline management interfacing with clients and stakeholders Ability to train and progress staff within the team Flexibility to work night shifts and travel as required Why HEB?
