WAREHOUSE STAFF/ DELIVERY DRIVER

We are seeking a talented and diligent individual with excellent communication skills for a full-time position of Warehouse Staff/Delivery Driver at our Mount Maunganui Warehouse. Bay Providors is one of the major ship chandler/suppliers of stores to ships calling New Zealand ports, located at Mount Maunganui, Industrial Area. Warehouse Staff/Delivery Driver Hours of Work Monday – Friday roster with flexibility to work weekends. 40 hours per week with a competitive salary of NZ$25–$27 per hour based on experience and performance. Key Responsibilities Able to do heavy lifting. Able to pass a drug test. Knowledge of safety equipment and personal protective equipment. Identify ship stores, deck/engine and provisions. Prepare ship stores and label them as per ship departments. Identify different cuts of meat, vegetables, fruits and international foods. Communicate with ship’s captain, cook and other officers to obtain invoices and permits. Knowledge of ship store loading/unloading operations is a bonus. Knowledge of inventory management, stock-take and stock shuffling. Work in freezer and chillers to prepare orders for ships. Use of palletizing and packaging goods. Perform forklift operations (bonus but not mandatory). Knowledge of ship equipment (bonus but not mandatory). Maintain professionalism and teamwork throughout the role. Qualifications NZ Class‑2 driver’s licence required, or overseas equivalent. 6 months to 1 year experience in a similar role or industry. Must be able to provide references. Must agree to security checks and pass a pre‑employment drug test. Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
