About the role We are looking for a fabulous Café Assistant to work in our lovely Bay Sands Village in Mt Maunganui. You will provide Barista and Café services in our established café. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will be providing exceptional service to our Residents and their friends, while also helping provide a great dining experience! We have the following vacancy working Tuesday to Saturday = 20hrs week – you must have flexibility around start and finish times. There may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired. Some of the great things you will be doing: Taking food and beverage orders from our residents, visitors and staff Making amazing cups of coffee (semi‑automatic machine) Serving and collecting meals in our café Assisting the Cook with food prep in the Kitchen General cleaning including café equipment and washing up in the kitchen About you You will have exceptional presentation, customer service skills, a vibrant and welcoming personality and enjoy giving service with a smile.
