Civil Engineer

As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities are for ensuring the successful delivery of quality projects from start to finish. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the technical, quality and engineering aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. What you'll be doing; Manage the day-to-day site operations, including supervising construction activities, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that may arise Interpret and implement engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure the project is delivered to the required standards Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve any concerns Conduct site inspections, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical documentation as required Contribute to the development and implementation of project management plans and procedures Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations What we're looking for; Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar civil engineering site role Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and competing priorities Familiarity with relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr
